Organizational Structure
Run Business Solutions (RBS) is the Information Technology department for Vernon College. By vendor contract, RBS provides management, administration, and support of the College’s information technology systems including the following:
- Monitoring, managing, and supporting on premise network, associated devices, and applications.
- Maintaining and updating the college website.
- Provide support for approximately 650 PCs and 22 Windows Servers
- Provide experienced staff to provide service
- Develop and maintain response and resolution scheduling and timeline plan
- Hardware maintenance and replenishment
- System Maintenance and Administration
- Hardware and software purchasing, planning and assistance
- Provide monthly and annual management data to client
- Server recovery plan
- Strategic planning, budgeting and project management
Vernon College employees provide management and oversight to the POISE management information system including admissions, registration, financial aid, and Dynamics GP/ Greenshades/ Reqlogic for business office, staff and faculty portals and purchase requisition functions. Vernon College employees also provide management to printer and copier functions and services.
RBS and Vernon College employees report directly to the President of Vernon College.
