MATH 0400 Foundations of Math

The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving. Topics in mathematics such as arithmetic operations, basic algebraic concepts and notations, geometry, and real number systems. This course is designed to prepare students for successful completion of MATH 0313 or MATH 0342 or MATH 0332. Special Fee $50.00
