General Admission Policy
Vernon College has an open admission policy which ensures that all persons who can benefit from higher education have an opportunity to do so. The admission policy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, marital status, religion, disability, or age. VC admission policy, procedures, and decisions are managed by both the administration and faculty. All matters pertaining to admission to VC should be addressed to the Office of Admissions and Records.
Previous Vernon College students who have not taken classes for one or more years must reapply for admission. Once students have reapplied, they will be readmitted with the same academic status they had during their last semester of attendance (with the exception of students who are not in good academic standing. Refer to Academic Standards for more information.) Reapplying students are subject to the same Admissions policies and requirements as new students.
