Nail Technician

The Nail Technician program is a 4 month program consisting of 4 courses and 620 hours. This program is a hands-on program that prepares students for a career as a certified nail technician. This program will allow students to participate in a hands-on experience leading to a flexible work schedule in a client-focused practice that promotes good health and well-being. These classes are offered through the Continuing Education Department and offered once a year. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the state certification exam with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Registration Procedures
Enrollment is limited to 12 students per year. Application packets and schedules can be found at the Vernon College Continuing Education Office or online at www.vernoncollege.edu/CE/ (under Fast Track Careers). Students will complete the registration process once accepted into the program. Tuition payment will be due at the time of registration. The deadlines for registration will be set upon approval of the application.
Program Requirements:
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
