VC Notification
VC Notification is a proactive student support system to inform students when there are concerns about academic progress or to acknowledge success in a class. There are four primary reasons a VC Notification may be sent: academic excellence, attendance issues, academic concerns, or non-academic concerns. All notifications are initiated by faculty.
VC Notifications are sent only to the Vernon College issued student email address. VC Notifications are initiated by instructors and monitored by other Vernon College departments including but not limited to Student Success and Financial Aid but are not seen by other Vernon College instructors. Instructors can also use the VC Notifications system to notify Student Services of students who appear to be in crisis or students who breach the Academic Integrity Policy. The purpose of the VC Notifications is to communicate with and encourage students.
