Student Government

Vernon College offers a student leadership program called ChapsLEAD. The goal of the program is to help interested students personally grow through exposure to a variety of leadership topics.  These topics are discussed in an interactive format led by internal Vernon College speakers. The program is six weeks long and includes a student chosen philanthropy project. Vernon College believes that a key ingredient to a successful Vernon College community is student lead leadership. Completers of the ChapsLEAD program serve as Vernon College student ambassadors, are eligible to serve on Vernon College committees, and help serve as a communication liaison for the student body to Vernon College administration.  A student can contact the Dean of Student Services, the Director of Housing, or the Vice President of Student Services if they are interested in participating in the ChapsLEAD program.
