MATH 0300 Foundations of Math Preparation
Placement is based on TSI/TSI2 scores and TSI Diagnostic Level. The NCBO supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving Students successfully completing the course should have the skills to successfully enter and complete either
MATH 0400 or beyond in the math sequence appropriate to their academic goals. Grades will be Pass/Unsuccessful. Special Fee: $10.00 for TSI retesting as final exam
