MATH 1316, Language, Philosophy, and Culture Elective: *VC’s Associate of Science degree requires three (3) hours of Language Philosophy & Culture and three (3) hours of Mathematics beyond the core requirements for a total of six (6) hours of each. Students whose degree plans of the senior college of their choice require fewer than six (6) hours of sophomore English or fewer than six (6) hours of mathematics, may apply for a VC waiver of three (3) hours of sophomore English and/or mathematics with substitution of appropriate course work upon approval of the Vice President of Instructional Services.
